Lab Technician
Seeking a Cleanroom Lab Technician Job Description As this Lab Technician, you will spend 75% of your time receiving and inspecting dried plasma and QC samples. You will manage document control and record-keeping as required by GMP. Your tasks will include visual inspection of freeze-dried plasma, working within the BECS system, performing titer testing for antibodies, pipetting, dilution, and reagent testing. The role involves repetitive tasks with some variety. Responsibilities: + Perform inspection of raw materials and plasma isoagglutination tests. + Maintain laboratory reagent inventory and support laboratory scientists. + Inspect raw materials for blood products as per procedures for fresh frozen plasma, sterile water for injection, carbon dioxide, manufacturing labels, etc. + Conduct isoagglutination tests for Type-A plasma titer screening per established procedures. + Accurately record results, document the use of test reagents, equipment use/maintenance, and laboratory environmental conditions. Maintain good record-keeping practices as required by GMP. + Understand inspection testing and results to recognize problems or unusual results. + Keep track of reagents and consumables for the Blood Products QC laboratory to ensure supplies are readily available. + Assist laboratory scientists in maintaining laboratory equipment per established procedures. + Perform other assigned duties under the supervision of laboratory scientists. Qualifications: + Associates in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry is preferred plus 6+ months of GMP experience + Must have 6+ months of GMP experience to be considered + High school diploma with 1+ year of GMP experience will be considered.
