Job Title: Lab Technician Job Description This position is for the 2nd shift from 12 PM to 9 PM, Thursday through Monday. Weekends are required; however, weekdays worked can be flexible as long as 40 hours are met. The company uses previously discarded barley to create protein powders in drinks, aiming to be the most sustainable protein company. Currently, a $130 million project is underway. We are seeking a Quality Technician to perform QC and QA duties. Responsibilities include the collection and shipping of product samples for 3rd party testing, basic lab testing, QA line checks, and hosting a sensory board for clients and coworkers. Candidates should be coachable, quick learners, able to multitask, and open to giving and receiving feedback. Work Site This is a fully on-site position in St. Louis, Missouri. Work Environment Not a lab environment, but some basic testing functions. PPE required. There will be stairs involving walking up and down. The environment can be warmer in certain areas of the plant depending on construction. Team setting.
