Description:

Testing of raw materials, ensure no delays to the manufacturing departmentRoutine testing of bulk & packed product samples, ensuring analysis is conducted in a timely manner with no waiting time for the packaging departmentInvestigating and reporting deviations/defects minimizing delay and losses and verifying that any resulting corrective actions are implemented to prevent re-occurrencesMaintaining and updating paperwork associated with laboratory activities ensuring smooth running of QC functions: i.e-specifications, methods, and production documents Conduct analytical testing including conductivity, specific gravity, pH, various titrations, FTIR, Spectrophotometry, Fluorescence, AA, HPLC, Gas ChromatographyPerform duties in accordance with principles for GMP and safe working practicesLiaise with other organizational functions to strongly communicate requirements and ensure goals are achievedGeneral tidiness of the laboratory to ensure compliance with GLP/GMP maintaining lab equipment, glassware and laboratory chemical sticks ensuring delays in testing

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Chemistry degree preferred pH, viscosity testing experience Ability to multitask Ability to think critically under pressureCommunication / team player
