Job Title: Lab Technician

Job Description

• Conduct Quality control and Quality assurance tests and checks. • Conduct quality control tests on raw material and product samples per company quality control test methods • Ensure timely testing and data recording for all samples • Timely issuing of COAs to customers • Coordinate responses to customer inquiries and plant management inquiries through Quality Manager • Support plant operations’ and customer quality and process efficiency programs • Customer Complaints/ Internal Quality Issues: Investigate and provide feedback to Quality Manager • Follow Lab Safety and regulatory procedures (OSHA Hazcom, labeling, MSDS) • Advise Quality Manager trends of quality deviations and opportunities to improve Quality goals and objectives (such as First Pass Yield) • Prepare and distribute labels to production staff for packaging • Calibrate and evaluate all QC equipment • Assist Quality Manager with projects

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in MACEDONIA, Ohio.

Work Environment

• Quality lab room is pretty small - Industrial lab but separate from production. • Mix of performing wet chem, documentation on the computer, and ensuring all samples meet client specifications.
