Lab Technician - Quality Control Position Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and independent Lab Technician to conduct analytical tests supporting Quality Control and manage customer sample order requests efficiently. Key Responsibilities: + Collect and test samples within specified timeframes, accurately record results in SAP, and store retains as required. + Maintain thorough, accurate, and legible test records in line with company policies and record-keeping procedures. + Perform cleaning and housekeeping tasks for the laboratory and testing equipment. + Assist with minor troubleshooting and maintenance of laboratory equipment. + Support customer pre-ship sample order requests by obtaining, packaging, and shipping samples as per the sample order database. + Prepare and ship samples for external laboratory testing. + Conduct testing and analysis for special projects and investigations of nonconforming products. + Assist in maintaining and updating laboratory procedures. + Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills: + Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field. + 1+ years of experience in an industry or academic laboratory setting. + Proficient in computer applications, including word processing, databases, and spreadsheets. + Strong analytical and mathematical skills, including statistical analysis. + Familiarity with laboratory bench practices and equipment management. + Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. + Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. + Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. + Team-oriented with a positive attitude. + Reliable attendance record.
