Job Description

The extrusion display panel technician performs basic technical tests on products and samples. Primary responsibility will be preparing, filling, and shipping color panel requests. Primary responsibilities include preparing, filing, and shipping color panel requests. Other responsibilities will include analyzing materials and samples, performing basic calculations, and cleaning and maintaining the lab.

Responsibilities

• Perform packaging and daily shipping for department, and Color Science Lab..

• Pull and file production and lab retains as needed for requests.

• Pull and file stock panels needed for online panel requests.

• Perform spray application for solvent based coil coatings.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Spray stock panels for inventory.

• Understand processes regarding tasks and requests

• Perform packaging and shipment of customer samples.

SkillsMust have a high school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of basic math skills Computer knowledge for basic inputting, communication, and data analysis

Work Environment

The position operates Monday through Friday 8:30am-5pm. The work is conducted in a laboratory setting with several labs for different departments, including filling, coil, extrusion, and coatings. The environment is fast-paced, and safety and cleanliness are prioritized.
