Job Title: Lab Technician

Job Description

Provide basic laboratory test analyses, inventory and prepare lab supplies, and maintain laboratory equipment. Perform test method evaluations and quality control tests on raw material, in-process, finished product samples, and wastewater samples. Complete associated documentation and perform verification, calibration, and preventive maintenance as per ISO schedules. Assist and participate in the EHSQ Management System.

ResponsibilitiesPerform basic laboratory test analyses.Inventory and prepare lab supplies.Maintain, verify, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.Perform test method evaluations.Conduct quality control tests on raw material, in-process, finished product samples, and wastewater samples according to SOPs and sample testing plans.Complete associated documentation.Perform verification, calibration, and preventive maintenance in accordance with ISO schedules.Assist and participate in the EHSQ Management System, including nonconformance, TVP, audits, and inventory.Essential SkillsExperience with HPLC, GC, IR, and other laboratory testing methods.Knowledge of quality control procedures.Understanding of laboratory instrumentation such as GC, HPLC, GC/MS, AA, Rheometer, and IR.Strong experience in chemistry and laboratory practices.Experience working in a GMP-compliant environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsLife Science Degree preferred.High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant experience, will be considered.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
