Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Laboratory Technician to support our analytical team.This role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in analytical testing and learn from experienced chemists.The Laboratory Technician will assist with various tasks, including inventory management, equipment maintenance, and data entry, while contributing to ongoing projects in the lab.Assist analytical chemists with daily tasks and projects.Stock inventory and maintain laboratory supplies.Wash glassware and ensure cleanliness of the lab.Perform data entry and general administrative support.Calibrate laboratory instruments such as balances and scales.Unload and organize items from the dishwasher.Follow assignments from chemists, which may include handling raw materials, mixing, and preparing batches.Conduct viscosity testing, penetration testing, and melting point analysis.Prepare samples for submission and document findings on the computer.Support stability studies for R&D projects.Perform IR analysis, HPLC, and GC analysis.Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in the Sciences (Chemistry, Biology, etc.)
Familiarity with wet chemistry lab techniques and lab safety
Ability to meet deadlines
Team oriented
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
