Job Title: Lab Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to join our team at a third-party testing company. This position involves processing samples in a Class 5 cleanroom environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in biology or chemistry and experience working in laboratory settings, including cleanrooms. Responsibilities + Process and prepare samples following stringent SOPs and management directives. + Thoroughly clean equipment weekly to eliminate any risk of cross-contamination. + Work within a Class 5 cleanroom to prepare special samples per client procedures. + Prepare and stock lab supplies, ensuring equipment and instrument maintenance. + Order laboratory and cleanroom supplies as needed. + Gown up in PPE according to cleanroom regulations and procedures (suit/bonnet/gloves). + Accurately document processes and results according to standards. + Operate laboratory instrumentation including hoods, centrifuges, ovens, ashers, stir plates, and pipettors. Essential Skills + Experience with GLP, fume hood, and centrifuge. + Strong understanding of SOPs. + BS in biology or chemistry with 1-2 years of lab experience (research experience from school is acceptable), or AS in biology or chemistry with 3-5 years of lab experience. + Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
