Job Title: Lab Technician
Job Description

A Quality Control (QC) scientist will perform release and stability testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished product for clinical development materials. Personnel will manage technical/scientific project activities at the task level.

ResponsibilitiesPerform testing using various analytical techniques, such as HPLC, Dissolution, GC, PXRD, FT-IR, DSC, and KF.Record and report results of analysis in accordance with lab procedures, GDP, and ALCOA.Review and interpret analytical test results.Recognize and report deviations, out-of-specifications (OOS), or unexpected results.Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace consistent with management expectations.Clean and calibrate analytical instrumentation as needed.Interact with customers and auditors as required.Support authoring Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), deviation reports, and other documents as needed.Collaborate with various functional areas to meet project and team objectives.Manage projects at the task level under minimal supervision.Perform all duties in strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, and Safety guidelines.Maintain the necessary compliance status required by company and facility standards.Essential SkillsBachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related physical science.Familiarity with testing techniques like HPLC, Dissolution, GC, PXRD, FT-IR, DSC, and KF.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).Additional Skills & QualificationsNo prior experience required.Ability to work independently and in a team setting.Good attention to detail and critical and logical thinking skills.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations.Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.Work Environment

Work is performed in a QC laboratory setting. The site consists of approximately 100 employees focused on contract early phase clinical drug product formulation development and manufacture. The day shift is Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Position requires standing and walking for a shift, occasionally lifting up to 20 pounds, manual dexterity and visual abilities, and the ability to handle laboratory instruments and equipment for prolonged periods. The environment is collaborative, with a supportive team dynamic and room for career advancement.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00
