ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

Inspects, monitors or audits all of the following:Product additives to ensure required proportions are being added;Review documentation pertaining to quality control audits, metal detectors, weight control, packaging and labeling integrity;.  Review documentation for all control points and critical control points per HACCP program;Audits all production and operator records for quality issues and conformance to reporting standards.  Audit daily paperwork. Evaluate product for die wear and record measurements. Prepare Certificates of Analysis for outgoing shipments.  Place or release non-conforming product on hold. Log appropriate information.Tracks inconsistencies and reports to manager.Records results of all product evaluations.  Ensures all paperwork for organic products is stamped “Organic”.  Ensures all lab paperwork is dated, stamped (as needed) and kept in an organized manner.Tracks product die wear.  Stores all samples for future evaluation except specified products which are to be left out for examination the next day.
