Interacts with other departments to communicate testing results **Employee Type:** Full time **Location:** ND Minot **Job Type:** Production Group **Job Posting Title:** Lab Technician **Job Description:** **ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:** + Inspects, monitors or audits all of the following: + Product additives to ensure required proportions are being added; + Review documentation pertaining to quality control audits, metal detectors, weight control, packaging and labeling integrity;. + Review documentation for all control points and critical control points per HACCP program; + Audits all production and operator records for quality issues and conformance to reporting standards. Audit daily paperwork. + Evaluate product for die wear and record measurements. + Prepare Certificates of Analysis for outgoing shipments. Place or release non-conforming product on hold. Log appropriate information. + Tracks inconsistencies and reports to manager. + Records results of all product evaluations. Ensures all paperwork for organic products is stamped “Organic”. + Ensures all lab paperwork is dated, stamped (as needed) and kept in an organized manner. + Tracks product die wear.
