Actalent is looking for a laboratory technician to join there team with a leading agricultural products company in Cincinnati OH. The Analytical Laboratory Technician plays a vital role in ensuring product quality, supporting day-to-day operations, and maintaining environmental compliance. The laboratory’s key function is to test finished product batches to ensure they meet required specifications and generate Certificates of Analysis for customers. In addition, the lab provides support for product research, process improvements, and formulation development.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure a safe and clean work environment by adhering to all relevant programs, policies, and safety guidelines.Analyze daily production batches of phosphoric acid and other products.Conduct environmental monitoring through process water analysis.Document data in a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and produce Certificates of Analysis.Operate and calibrate analytical testing equipment, such as ICP, color meter, density meter, nitrogen analyzer, and auto-titrator.Collaborate with the laboratory supervisor on product research, process improvements, and method development.Work independently and manage tasks efficiently.Perform other duties as needed.Requirements:
Strong foundational knowledge in basic laboratory techniques such as titrations, weighing, pipetting, and dilution.Associates or Bachelors in science is preferred, but not required.Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and web-based email and internet tools.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00
