Actalent is currently hiring multiple Lab Technicians in the Columbus, area. These are long term openings in a medical lab setting with lots of growth. This role requires a high school diploma and good tenure from previous work experiences. These openings are on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift and will run Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday. Pay will vary between $15-18/hr, based on shift. Job Description We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accessioner to join our laboratory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing laboratory specimens for analysis, assisting clients with specimen-related inquiries, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. + Prepare and process laboratory specimens for analysis + Research, troubleshoot, and resolve customer and specimen problems + Send test requests to the proper location and release test results + Assist clients with any specimen-related requests or inquiries + Process specimens to be sent out to additional facilities + Provide support to various areas of the laboratory + Perform sample sorting, racking, and retrieving + Prepare record logs in a timely and efficient manner + Maintain a clean and safe work environment Additional skills and qualifications + Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent + Experience in a laboratory environment is preferred + Comfortability with handling biological specimens + Basic computer and data entry skills + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Ability to work independently or within a team environment + Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $18.00 • Medical, dental & vision• Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital• 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available• Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents)• Short and long-term disability• Health Spending Account (HSA)• Transportation benefits• Employee Assistance Program• Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave) Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Dublin,OH.
