Job Title: Lab Technician Job Description An organization that manufactures custom oligonucleotides for use in industrial and academic research facilities is seeking lab technicians to support the production and quality control of oligonucleotides. This individual will be tied to the main production group, which encompasses synthesis, responsible for the synthesis, cleavage, deprotection, desalting, and final packaging formulation of the oligos. Responsibilities + Support production and quality control of oligonucleotides. + Participate in the synthesis, cleavage, deprotection, desalting, and final packaging formulation of oligonucleotides. + Ensure adherence to lab safety protocols. + Prepare samples and maintain cleanroom standards. Essential Skills + Basic laboratory skills. + Knowledge of lab safety protocols. + Experience in quality control. + Ability to work in a cleanroom environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + AS/BS Degree in a life science field. + 0+ years of experience. + Comfortable with custom software and technology. + Ability to be flexible and recognize priorities. + Sense of urgency and attention to detail. Work Environment This is a start-up environment with a family atmosphere, characterized by a tight-knit team that enjoys working together and having fun. The position is part of the Purified-Formulations Value Stream located in Morrisville, NC, and will be onsite. The work hours are Monday to Friday, from 6:30am to 3pm. The facility is one of the smaller sites within the network but is expected to grow as the business expands to supply oligonucleotides for research purposes for various infectious diseases. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.65 - $18.65 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
