Lab Technician Opportunity Summary: + Cleaning of laboratory glassware and equipment + Preparation of material for sterilization in the Laboratory Autoclave + Operation of equipment preparation and cleaning systems, such as laboratory glasswashers + Maintenance and stocking of departmental consumable inventory + Set-up and disinfection of media supplies and equipment needed for testing + Perform sampling of critical utility systems (e.g., water, air, alcohol) + Perform non-batch release testing (e.g., raw materials, environmental monitoring) + Assist in filing and archiving of departmental data binders, reports, and investigations + Assist in the retrieval of samples from manufacturing areas to the laboratory for testing + Log samples into logbooks + Receive samples into LIMS, EBM, and/or JDE; aliquot samples + Enter data into LIMS and initiate/pull Stability Studies/Samples Qualifications + Support laboratory operations through sample control, equipment metrology, data reconciliation/archiving, or computerized system programming and support + 1-3 years of experience working in a chemistry lab with chromatography experience + Must be able to read and follow detailed written instructions + Knowledge of basic chemical and biological safety procedures + May lift, push, pull, and carry up to approximately 25 lbs Work Environment You will work Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM in the IG Lab supporting Gammagard. The facility is a state-of-the-art campus with over 1,100 employees, including multiple laboratories, a warehouse with ambient, cold, and freezer storage, utilities production, office space, and a two-story commons building featuring a full-service cafeteria, coffee bar, fitness center, and patio. The work environment may require special gowning and wearing protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet, and body, including additional hearing protection for loud areas. The role involves a combination of sedentary work, standing work, and walking around to observe conditions in the facility. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
