Job Title: Lab Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Lab Technician to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to perform HPLC testing, prepare and process samples, conduct analytical testing, and record results accurately. The Lab Technician will also be responsible for organizing and preparing samples, maintaining and calibrating lab equipment, and ensuring the cleanliness and order of the lab environment. Responsibilities + Perform HPLC testing + Prepare and process finished product samples + Conduct analytical testing + Record results into software programs + Organize and prepare samples + Clean testing equipment and lab area + Perform light maintenance and calibration on all laboratory equipment + Organize, clean, and schedule orders for lab equipment + Compare equipment readouts with standard samples to ensure accurate operation Preferred Skills & Qualifications + 1-2 years of relevant lab experience + Ability to multi-task and run specific tests + Familiarity with moisture testing and pH testing + Willingness to be trained on-site with HPLC, GC, and other scientific instrumentation Work Environment This position involves full-time work in a lab setting, with two roles dedicated to general lab testing and two roles focused on a 16-month ethanol project. The ethanol project will include sample collection and testing. The job operates on a rotating shift schedule, alternating between days and nights every other weekend, with 12-hour shifts (7 AM-7 PM and 7 PM-7 AM). The shift pattern is 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, and 3 days off. Initial training will follow a floating schedule. There is potential for these positions to become long-term contract roles.
