Job Title: Pilot Equipment Operator - Laboratory Exciting opportunity to jump start your career in R&D! Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to set up and operate pilot equipment, including evaporators, crystallizers, and boilers. This role involves operating various laboratory equipment, recording and documenting outputs, performing analytical testing, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment. Responsibilities + Set up and operate pilot equipment such as evaporators, crystallizers, and boilers. + Operate hoses, pumps, heaters, centrifuges, and other equipment throughout testing processes. + Record and document equipment outputs including pressure, temperature, gauge levels, and chemical data. + Perform analytical testing such as titrations, spectroscopy, solids composition, crystal characterization, and microscopy. + Document all laboratory results and collaborate with team members to develop products for customer applications. + Follow basic laboratory practices and maintain a safe, clean working lab space. Essential Skills + Laboratory experience in any setting and with any kind of testing. + Basic understanding of lab processes. + Experience with chemistry, biology, titration, and reverse osmosis. Candidates will work night shifts from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Initial training will occur on the first shift for a few weeks to a couple of months before transitioning to the night shift. Candidates must be open to working up to 12 hours per day and assisting on weekends if needed due to the 24/7 runtime of the pilot process. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
