Job Title: Lab Technician
Job Description

An individual in this role would be expected to perform routine cleaning and sterilization of lab glassware, tubing, and supplies. A Technician will also build and maintain materials and supplies used in research and GMP manufacturing in accordance with supplied Standard Operating Procedures.

ResponsibilitiesClean and sterilize laboratory glassware and supplies using autoclaves or ethylene oxide gas sterilizerBuild bioreactors and tubing sets according to supplied diagrams and standard operating proceduresMaintain stock of glassware and supplies in the clean roomRead, understand, and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as trained and communicate any non-conformance to supervisorComply with documentation and logbook standardsPerform other duties as assignedExecute the routine housekeeping of the work and storage areas to maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsMonitor inventory of supplies in the sterile prep room and clean room storage roomDocument equipment use, cleaning, and routine maintenance in associated logsEssential SkillsFamiliarity working in a lab and following SOPsExperience with GMP and autoclaveAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma minimum. Will accept Associate's or Bachelor's degree candidates.Work Environment

This position operates in a shift schedule of Monday to Friday, 1st shift hours. The work environment embodies a 'work hard, play hard' ethos with frequent team outings. The company hosts 'Third Thursday' events where team members walk through different projects and teams. Additionally, new hires participate in 'Java with Leadership,' providing an opportunity to meet with leadership and learn about the company's history. Employees will also be exposed to clinical trials and the manufacturing side of the ELAP product.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
