As a Molecular Research Technician, you will be part of the BioMonitoring R&D Team supporting innovative food pathogen diagnostics projects. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Laboratory Technician **Location:** Bellevue, WA **Pay Range:** $26-$30/hr **What's the Job?** + Assist scientists with food studies and perform background research. + Conduct general lab maintenance and ensure a clean working environment. + Utilize PCR/QPCR techniques and aseptic methods in a BSL2 lab setting. + Work with food bacterial pathogens while adhering to safety protocols. + Engage in data analysis and contribute to scientific discussions within the team. **What's Needed?** + BA/BS in Life Sciences (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or Microbiology) with 1-3 years of lab-based experience. + Experience working in a BSL2 laboratory environment. + Proficiency in microbiological techniques and aseptic practices. + Ability to lift 15-20 lbs. for food sample enrichments. + Strong motivation and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
