Lab Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to join our team for a 3rd shift position from Sunday to Thursday (11:00pm-7:30am). The role involves performing various wet chemistry tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products, conducting sustainability tests, and engaging in routine benchtop testing. The successful candidate will work both individually and as part of a team, and will need to communicate effectively between departments. Responsibilities + Perform wet chemistry tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products. + Conduct sustainability tests. + Perform routine benchtop testing including titration, viscosity, pH, HPLC, density, microbial testing, and GC. + Collect samples from the production floor for testing. + Communicate between departments as necessary. + Work both independently and as part of a team. Essential Skills + Proficiency in wet chemistry, titration, and other laboratory techniques. + Understanding of basic chemistry testing. + Ability to perform quality control and analytical chemistry tasks. + Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). + Basic computer skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree in Science (Chemistry, Biology, or related fields). + Knowledge of microbiology testing. Work Environment The Lab Technician will spend the majority of their time in the lab and occasionally collect samples from the production floor. The facility is quite large, with it taking approximately 10 minutes to travel from one side to the other. To facilitate movement within the facility, bicycles have been used in the past. The working hours for this position are Sunday to Thursday, 3rd shift (11:00pm-7:30am). Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $21.53/hr.
