**Lab Technician** **Job Description** Our Client is seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to perform routine production duties associated with various aspects of lens production. This role requires attention to detail, quality, quantity, and efficiency. The successful candidate will qualify and inspect products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and keep appropriate written and/or computer documentation. This position may involve cross-training on new tasks and additional responsibilities as needed. **Responsibilities** + Perform routine production duties associated with lens production. + Qualify and inspect products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. + Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with all safety regulations. + Keep appropriate written and/or computer documentation. + Participate in departmental meetings to enhance communication and efficiency. + May be assigned to different workstations or product lines as production needs require. + Train peers as needed. **Essential Skills** + High School Diploma or equivalent. + 0-2 years of related experience. + Reliable, honest, and dependable. + Ability to follow written and verbal directions. + Customer service mindset. + Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods. + Capability to perform repetitive movements with upper and lower extremities. + Ability to regularly lift 10 pounds and exert up to 20 PSI with hands. + Sustain lengthy periods of visual concentration with good hand/eye/foot coordination. + Work in a fast-paced, multi-task production environment with long periods of focus. + Attention to detail and symmetry. + Solid dexterity and mechanical skills. + Patience to fully see tasks through. + Clear and concise communication with associates. + Professional demeanor. + General office/computer experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in general labor, production, assembly, inspection, and quality control. **Why Work Here?** Our Client offers a great work environment in a clean and climate-controlled lab. The role involves working with various technologies and equipment in a fast-paced setting. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of HEBRON, Kentucky. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.20/hr.
