Job Title: Lab Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to perform repetitive, basic laboratory testing on multiple types of products produced at our plant. You will also be responsible for testing incoming raw materials and reporting results accurately in our electronic database, SAP. Additionally, you will make dispositions regarding products/raw materials based on testing results, maintain a clean and orderly working environment, and perform basic maintenance and calibrations on laboratory equipment.

ResponsibilitiesPerform repetitive, basic laboratory testing on multiple types of products produced at the plant.Conduct basic laboratory testing on incoming raw materials.Report testing results accurately in the SAP electronic database.Make dispositions regarding products/raw materials based on testing results.Maintain a clean and orderly working environment, including basic upkeep of working areas and laboratory equipment.Perform basic maintenance and calibrations on laboratory equipment.Prepare laboratory reagents and run method assurances, including additional testing and investigation when required.Safely collect samples for testing outside of the laboratory when necessary.Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.QualificationsA minimum of an associate degree in a related field (e.g., chemistry, biology).Bachelor’s degree preferred.Experience with specific instrumentation such as HPLC, UV-VIS, GC preferred.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
