Lab Technician
Job Title: Lab TechnicianJob Description We are looking for a Lab Technician to join our client's R&D department. The Lab Technician will be responsible for applying flavors to various substances, including powdered nicotine, shisha, and hookah. This role involves collaborating with flavorists to create formulas, formulating samples for customers, and working with the QC department to ensure sample approval. Responsibilities + Apply flavors to different substances, including powdered nicotine, shisha, and hookah + Work with flavorists to create and refine formulas + Formulate samples for customers + Collaborate with the QC department to ensure sample approval Essential Skills + Experience in R&D, Chemistry, and Laboratory settings + Proficiency in using HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) + Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or a related field + 2 - 4 years of experience working in a lab setting + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software + Ability to work quickly and efficiently to meet tight deadlines + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Proven organizational skills Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to give and receive constructive feedback + Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment Work Environment This position is based in an R&D Laboratory where lab coats and PPE are required. The company offers great benefits and a balanced work-life environment if brought on permanently. Additionally, the company is closed for the last one to two weeks of the year. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
