The ideal candidate will have some laboratory experience, strong sterile technique knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision. Located in Minneapolis, MN 1 year contract w possible extension **Pay:** $22-25/hour **Key Responsibilities** + Prepare media, plates, and other laboratory materials. + Restock lab supplies and maintain a clean, organized lab environment. + Clean, sterilize, and maintain laboratory glassware and equipment. + Collect and autoclave laboratory waste following biosafety guidelines. + Perform standard cleaning and maintenance protocols for scientific equipment. + Support general lab functions, ensuring smooth daily operations. + Collect samples for scientists during rotational weekend shifts. **Qualifications & Skills** + Some laboratory experience preferred, especially in sterile techniques and biosafety. + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately. + Basic math skills for measurements and calculations. + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. + Familiarity with laboratory equipment and maintenance procedures is a plus. **Education** + Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required. ** This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
