Job Title: Pilot Equipment Operator - R&D Lab Job Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our R&D lab team. The primary role involves setting up and operating pilot equipment, such as evaporators, crystallizers, and boilers, and conducting various analytical tests. This is a unique opportunity to gain extensive experience in chemical processes and R&D solutions. Responsibilities + Set up and operate pilot equipment, including evaporators, crystallizers, and boilers. + Operate simple hoses, pumps, heaters, centrifuges, and other equipment throughout testing processes. + Record and document outputs from the equipment, including pressure, temperature, gauge levels, and chemical data. + Perform analytical testing, such as titrations, spectroscopy, solids composition, crystal characterization, and microscopy. + Document all laboratory results and collaborate with team members to develop products based on customer applications. + Follow basic laboratory practices and maintain a safe, clean working lab space. Essential Skills + Laboratory experience in any setting and with any kind of testing. + Base understanding of lab processes. + Ability to work the night shift. + Experience in chemistry, biology, titration, and reverse osmosis. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with reverse osmosis and crystallization. + Experience in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Inorganic Chemistry. Work Environment The lab environment involves working with a team of roughly 15 individuals. The position requires working Monday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Tuesday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. to ensure that systems and testing are performed 24/7. This contract role provides valuable R&D experience, with the potential for hire based on performance. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
