Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated QC Lab Technician to join their team in Glendale, CA. You will be responsible for performing quality control testing and ensuring that our products meet the required safety and quality standards. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the high quality of our products and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and non-routine quality control testing on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet established specifications and industry standards.Conduct physical, chemical, and microbiological testing in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Document all test results, observations, and deviations, and prepare reports as needed for internal and regulatory compliance.Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and ensure all testing instruments are functioning correctly.Assist in the development and validation of test methods, protocols, and procedures.Ensure the timely processing of laboratory samples and communicate test results to the Quality Control Manager or other departments.Perform stability testing on products and materials as required.Review incoming raw materials and supplier documentation to verify quality specifications and approval.Maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment in accordance with health and safety guidelines.Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and testing techniques in the personal care product industry.Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).Additional certifications in Quality Control or laboratory techniques is a plus.Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a quality control or laboratory setting, preferably within the personal care or cosmetics industry.Knowledge of testing procedures, lab equipment, and safety protocols.Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Familiarity with laboratory instruments and test methods (e.g., HPLC, GC, pH meters, etc.).Knowledge of GMP, GLP, and FDA regulations related to personal care products.Pay and Shift:
