Requirements for consideration:

Minimum Education:

High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Years of Experience:

One year of experience required.  1- 3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory environment or as a phlebotomist preferred

Job Responsibilities

Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with others to optimize job performance and foster working relationships. To help achieve our mission, you will ensure accurate specimen processing to maintain specimen integrity and verify product and/or test components when processing. Managing specimen accessioning accurately and efficiently to provide quality specimens for Laboratory testing is of vital importance. Performing proper specimen collection by confirming patient identification, collecting specimens in proper tubes, utilizing venipuncture/capillary techniques and accurately labeling the specimens to ensure accurate patient results is required. Other duties as assigned.
