Job title: Lab Technician 
Location: Trumbull, CT, Onsite
Shift: M-F 8-5
Type: Contract, initially 4 months with extension.
Pay: $25/hour

Requirements:

Associates’ or Bachelor’s Degree in technical field (desired), High School Degree Min The candidate must demonstrate some lab experience Computer literate in Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols for preservation of data Comfortable and able to work with chemicals while following safe laboratory practices/protocols The ability to stand while working in the laboratory throughout most of the day Please note this person will only be doing formulations on paper. They need strong attention to detail, file keeping, and documentation skills. Responsibilities: Preparation & organization for the labs for testing.  Participates in lab organization  and documentation within established procedures while summarizing and reporting results. Unpack & lift new Henkel products for testing, move & set-up product bins in the appropriate heated temperature-controlled chambers Label each FDA product, check batch & UPC codes File returned FDA product from the labs back in the appropriate bins in heated chambers  Uses a computer to enter data/information including charts and tables for communication of project results/details. Involved in documenting the production liquid cleansing products. Documents tests and characteristics of formulas using established procedures (on paper in lab documentation systems). Maintain and file FDA paper files, lab data, & maintain files by year & the unique FDA documentation
