Description:

Responsible for ensuring daily quality parameters are met within the lab. The fiber team is responsible for the daily LECO protein analysis in the fiber lab. When these tasks are complete, they will help with the daily fiber digestion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate analytical testing for Medallion. Some of the analytical tests include Enzyme Digestion, LECO, Ash Analysis, Protein Analysis and some HPLC analysis. All of the fiber tests they perform are listed in this link shown under Fiber Tests: https://www.medallionlabs.com/tests/ .

• Provide support and flexibility related to the analysis of samples for Medallion Labs.

• Document results and review data.

• Investigate any technical discrepancies on a timely basis.

• Develop a strong knowledge of the analytical methods being used to analyze samples.

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor in a Life Science (preference for chemistry, food science, biochemistryIt would be good if candidates have experience with HPLC or Chromatography or LECO or Enzyme DigestionThe team is very tight and close - someone who does well in a team based environment is important.About Actalent
