Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking a LAB Technician III to join their team. As a LAB Technician III, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the Verification & Validation team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** LAB Technician III **Location:** Maplewood, MN **Pay Range:** $25 per hour **What's the Job?** + Conduct mechanical, material, and bench testing on medical device components, including adhesives, dressings, and tapes. + Perform first-line testing for new protocols, test method validation, and standard operating procedure (SOP) transfers. + Develop customized bench testing and specialized mechanical testing setups to evaluate product performance. + Execute component and full-product testing, simulating real-world human motion and use scenarios. + Collaborate with engineers to develop and refine new test methods and train team members on procedures. **What's Needed?** + For Associate Degree Candidates: Minimum 2 years of hands-on testing experience in a professional setting. + Experience in mechanical, material, or chemical testing preferred. + For Bachelor's Degree Candidates: Degree in Engineering, Material Science, or a related field. + Minimum 1 year of hands-on testing experience, preferably in a regulated industry. + Independent and proactive – able to take ownership of testing projects and execute protocols effectively. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work on cutting-edge medical device testing. + Collaborative and innovative work environment. + Hands-on experience in a regulated environment. + Engagement with cross-functional teams to enhance testing methods. + Professional growth and development opportunities.
