Job Description
Provide technical leadership and serve as the technical resource for all hematology laboratory technologists and technicians with regards to the performance and interpretation of new and ongoing assays. Review clinical protocols, lead the development of lab protocols for studies, and provide technical guidance to the Project Management group as well as sponsors as needed. Collaborate with IT and Data Management in priming hematology studies. Assist the Management team in developing SOPs, method validations, workflow processes, data review, reporting templates, and QC processes. Train hematology lab staff on various equipment, manual processes, and proper QC/PT.

The work schedule is flexible with shifts available from 10am-6:30pm or 2pm-10:30pm. Once a shift is chosen, it must remain consistent. Employees can choose to work Monday-Friday with alternating Saturdays or a set Tuesday-Saturday schedule. Working in this environment means handling samples for clinical trials, without the need to work on major holidays or deal with patients.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $87360.00
Full-time employees are those who regularly work 35 or more hours per week and are eligible for full benefits after completing a 30-day waiting
period. Part-time employees are those regularly scheduled to work 20 to 34 hours per week. Part-time employees scheduled to work 30 to 34 hours a week are eligible for
medical insurance, the 401(k) Incentive Savings Plan, and will receive pro-rated paid time off, and holiday, jury duty, and bereavement paid time off. Part-time employees
scheduled to work 20-29 hours a week are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Incentive Savings Plan, and will receive pro-rated paid time off, and holiday, jury duty, and
bereavement paid time off. Part-time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours a week may participate in the 401(k) Incentive Savings Plan.
