Lab/Test Engineer 1
**Job Description: Lab/Test Engineer 1** + **Location** : Onsite, Redmond, WA + **Duration** : 18-month contract + **Pay Range** : $25/hr. - $30/hr. Our client is looking for a Lab/Test Engineer. The primary role of the Lab/Test Engineer is to execute repeatable testing procedures and apply configuration skills at a basic level. The engineer will perform tests, verify system specifications, and work with a range of programming languages. **Top 3 Required Skills:** 1. **Python** – Minimum 2 years’ experience 2. **Networking Knowledge** – Minimum 2 years’ experience with basic networking 3. **Device Management** – Minimum 2 years’ experience, with strong familiarity with Microsoft operating systems and the ability to manage devices across all OS platforms **Job Responsibilities:** + Perform repeatable testing procedures and processes + Verify triggers, stored procedures, and hardware product specifications + Interpret and modify code, including Python, JS, C#, and Ruby scripts + Write automation test scripts for device setup **Required Skills:** + Proficient in application-level configuration + Experience with batch files and Windows command-line utilities + Software testing experience in web-based or Windows client/server environments + Familiarity with Microsoft products for development or database administration + Ability to write in at least one programming language (C#, C/C++, SQL) + Strong understanding of software quality assurance practices and PC hardware **Education/Experience:** + Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related field) + 0-2 years of relevant experience **Benefits:** + Opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology for next-gen Xbox products + Support a leading company in the industry + Gain valuable hands-on experience + Paid Time Off (PTO) + Comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
