Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Label Machine Operator to join our team for the 2nd shift (6pm - 6am) at our facility in New Century, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining label application equipment to ensure high-quality product labeling.
Set up, operate, and monitor label application machines for various productsEnsure accurate and consistent label placement on productsPerform quality checks to maintain labeling standardsTroubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issuesClean and maintain label machines and work areaFollow all safety procedures and company policiesCollaborate with team members to meet production goalsMaintain accurate records of production output and machine performanceAssist in inventory management of labeling materialsCommunicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers regarding production status and any issuesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious experience operating label machines or similar equipment in a manufacturing environmentAbility to work night shift hours (6pm - 6am)Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality controlBasic computer skills for data entry and record-keepingAbility to follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environmentExcellent organizational skills and ability to manage time effectivelyStrong problem-solving skills to address minor equipment issuesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamForklift certification preferredFamiliarity with label application techniques and materials a plusKnowledge of quality assurance processes beneficialUnderstanding of manufacturing safety standardsAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
