Job Title: Label Operator
Job Description

The Labeling Operator is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of high-speed packaging equipment, including the Palletizer and De-palletizer, as well as all related production equipment. This individual will work as part of a team to support a collaborative environment. The Labeling Operator will gain knowledge and experience in the palletizing and de-palletizing processes. Additional responsibilities may include staff training and assisting Team Line Leads and Supervisors to meet operational needs.

ResponsibilitiesPerform essential functions and operation of the Palletizer and De-palletizer.Complete machine setups, changeovers, tooling changes, adjustments, and troubleshooting related to the operation of one or more packaging machines.Maintain line efficiencies at the designed rate and meet quality and customer requirements.Perform general light maintenance and troubleshooting of machines and related equipment.Communicate verbally at shift changes with other operators on the status of machine performance.Enter equipment downtime and reasons into the MES data system for your equipment promptly.Maintain appropriate quality and production documentation.Verify product matches the production schedule and complete inventory documentation.Monitor bottle, carton, and case codes to ensure the product is properly packaged and quality standards are met.Essential Skills6+ months of high-speed food manufacturing experienceMachine operation experienceProduction and labeling experienceGeneral production and palletizing experienceInspection and quality check experienceTroubleshooting skillsAdditional Skills & Qualifications1+ years of recent machine operating experienceManufacturing or warehouse experienceMechanically inclinedFood manufacturing experience is a plusAbility to multi-taskFamiliarity with GMPs, HAACP, and SQF guidelinesWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

Some areas are refrigerated, so you will be working in colder temperatures. Adherence to food safety protocols is required, including wearing hair nets and beard nets, and avoiding long nails or jewelry.
