**Job Title: Label Operator** **Job Description** The Labeling Operator is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of high-speed packaging equipment, including the Palletizer and De-palletizer, as well as other related production equipment. This individual will work as part of a team, fostering a collaborative environment. The Labeling Operator will gain knowledge and experience in the palletizing and de-palletizing processes. Additional responsibilities may include staff training and providing assistance to Team Line Leads and Supervisors as necessary to meet the organization’s operational needs. **Responsibilities** + Perform essential functions and operation of the Palletizer and De-palletizer. + Complete machine setups, changeovers, tooling changes, adjustments, and troubleshooting related to the operation of one or more packaging machines. + Maintain line efficiencies at the designed rate and standards to meet quality and customer requirements. + Perform general light maintenance and troubleshooting of machines and related equipment. + Verbally communicate at shift changes with other operators on the status of machine performance. + Enter equipment downtime and reasons into the MES data system promptly. + Maintain appropriate quality and production documentation. + Verify product matches the production schedule and complete inventory documentation. + Monitor bottle, carton, and case codes to ensure the product is being properly packaged and quality standards are adhered to. **Essential Skills** + 6+ months of high-speed food manufacturing experience + Experience in machine operation, production, labeling, general production, and palletizing + Ability to perform quality checks and inspections + Experience with GMPs, HAACP, and SQF guidelines + Ability to multi-task **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + +1 year of recent machine operating experience (preferred in food manufacturing, but not necessary) + Plastics or any kind of high-speed machine operating experience + +1 year of recent setup/adjustment experience as an operator + Food manufacturing experience is a plus but not necessary **Why Work Here?** We offer ample room for growth with opportunities to apply for other jobs internally. Food safety protocols must be followed, including wearing hair nets, beard nets, and avoiding long nails or jewelry.
