Mercy Gilbert is a modern, 212-bed, acute care, not-for-profit community hospital in the Phoenix area’s East Valley. We offer a full breadth of care, from emergency and cardiovascular to pediatric, orthopedic and diagnostic services. Responsibilities

At Dignity Health Mercy Gilbert Medical Center we deliver humankindness through a wide range of health social and support services in the heart of Gilbert, Arizona. As part of our team you will provide clinical expertise; support and oversight that helps ensure our patients receive exceptional care. As a member of our team you will have the opportunity to champion the change by joining in our mission of healing through humankindness. 

Expectations:

Education for the Labor & Delivery Service line.Provides support and consult on quality education based on learning needs to the employees of Dignity Health East Valley Hospitals and Urgent Care Centers. Collaborates with management under the direct supervision of the Manager or Director of Education Administration on all phases of employee development. Designs organizes, implements and evaluates evidence-based educational programs orientations and continuing education that facilitate the professional growth skill development and competency of staff. These programs primarily support the organization's mission vision values and strategic goals to ensure quality safety and service in patient and family-centered care.

Dignity Health now offers an Education Benefit program for benefit-eligible employees after 180 days. This program provides debt relief and student loan assistance to help you achieve your goals. Full-time employees can receive up to $18,000 over five years, while part-time employees can receive up to $9,000. Qualifications

Minimum:

5 years clinical practice in Labor & Delivery Service line requiredBSN requiredCurrent AZ RN licenseCurrent American Heart Association BLSACLS required for Educator if assigned to monitored areasExperience with Windows and word processing applications required

Preferred: 

Specialty certification and/or 2 years teaching Experience with spreadsheets databases graphics applications Master degree
