ASSOCIATE – LABOR & EMPLOYMENT

Our client, a top AmLaw 100 national law firm, is seeking a mid-level Associate to join their Labor & Employment Department in Los Angeles or San Francisco. This role involves representing employers in employment law matters, including both litigation and advisory work.

 

Candidate Profile:

JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record. Active California Bar license required. 3+ years of experience representing employers in employment law matters, with a minimum of two years specific to California. Strong background in discrimination, retaliation, harassment law, and wrongful discharge actions. Familiarity with wage and hour law and class action experience. Law firm experience with superb writing, drafting, and communication skills. Ambition, drive, and team-orientation to support and grow the national practice.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Represent employers in employment law litigation and provide advisory services. Handle matters related to discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful discharge, wage and hour law, and class actions. Draft legal documents and develop case strategies.

Compensation:
Salary will range between $245,000 and $390,000, depending on experience. A discretionary bonus may also be available based on performance.
