Labor & Employment Associate – California
Locations: Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, or Silicon Valley office
Our client, an AmLaw 50 firm is seeking a dynamic, motivated associate with 3-4 years of Labor & Employment Litigation experience to join a nationally recognized Labor & Employment Practice Group in either their Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, or Silicon Valley office.
Experience required:
California wage and hour class action litigation
PAGA claims
Single plaintiff employment litigation
Employee handbooks
Day-to-day advice and counseling
Strong legal writing skills
Discovery, motion practice, taking and defending depositions
Researching and drafting pleadings, motions, and other court filings
Trial preparation in state and federal courts (preferred)
Participation in settlement conferences and negotiations (preferred)
Associate must have:
Positive attitude
Strong interpersonal skills
Exceptional work ethic
Demonstrated client relationship and business development skills
Ability to thrive in busy, collegial environments and work as part of a cohesive team.
Top academics and top law firm experience required
Must hold a JD from a Top 50 ABA-approved law school
Must be in good standing and an active member of the California Bar at time of hire

Expected salary range: $260,000 - $310,000 annually (based on experience and other job-related factors)
