**Position Title:** Labor Relations Specialist
**Supervisor:** Vice President & Assistant General Counsel, Labor Relations
**Location:** Open
**Position Summary:** We are seeking a Labor Relations Specialist to join our Legal Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing labor relations activities, including negotiations, contract administration, and conflict resolution. You will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with labor laws and union agreements.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Assist in negotiation and drafting of collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) and ensure their effective implementation.
+ Review and interpret labor contracts, providing guidance to management and employees.
+ Act as a mediator in disputes between management and union representatives or employees.
+ Conduct investigations into employee grievances and recommend appropriate resolutions.
+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
+ Develop and implement labor relations policies and procedures to promote fair treatment and workplace harmony.
+ Partners with HR and Operations in educating employees on all organized labor issues; review, interpret and make recommendations on company policies and procedures with respect to labor issues; serve as an organizational resource in raising issues that may result in a gap between stated organizational goals and actual practice.
+ Keep management informed on labor trends, policies, and best practices.
+ Foster positive relationships with union representatives, employees, and management.
+ Actively participate in labor-management committees and meetings.
**Qualifications**
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Relations, or a related field.
+ 3 years of experience in labor relations or a similar role.
+ Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
+ Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
+ Experience conducting effective & objective investigations and recommending the advisability of corrective action
+ Ability to manage conflict and resolve disputes effectively.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to travel up to 80%
