About the role 

ALS Food Safety provides an extensive range of food analytical testing services, including food production environments and raw and cooked meat, dairy, produce, seafood, and animal feeds.   We work closely with our clients to ensure their needs are met now and in the future.

We are hiring Laboratory Technicians.  Full time positions available.

 

We will train the right candidates!

 

Entry Level Laboratory Technicians perform basic laboratory tests.  Lab Techs receive, log, and prepare samples and perform analysis according to procedures and test methods. 

 

Duties include:

Perform calculations as required when conducting analytical preparationsCalibrate equipment as requiredMaintains an understanding of and ensures compliance to Quality System including the manual, system procedures (QMSPs). Perform housekeeping duties as required.

Other preferred skills, abilities and experience:

Good communication and collaboration skills (Teamwork!)Multi-tasked, organized, and detail orientedProblem solving capabilitiesHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience working in another laboratory on in the food safety sectorLife Science degree a plus!
