We are seeking a dedicated Lab Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing bulk samples for asbestos and fungi, preparing and analyzing aerobiological, environmental, and water samples, and entering and reporting data using LIMS. Additionally, you will independently review data, perform quality control tasks, assist with lab accreditations, and maintain QA documents. You will manage projects based on urgency and deadlines and ensure adherence to company policies. This position requires a strong experience in microbiology or related sciences, with a focus on analytical testing and quality assurance in a lab setting.
ResponsibilitiesAnalyze bulk samples for asbestos and fungi.Prepare and analyze aerobiological, environmental, and water samples.Enter and report data using LIMS.Review data independently and perform quality control tasks.Assist with lab accreditations and maintain QA documents.Manage projects based on urgency and deadlines.Ensure adherence to company policies.Essential SkillsExperience with asbestos, PLM, PDM, PCM, and microscopy.Strong knowledge of microbiology, biology, and geology.Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Geology, or a related science.1-2 years of lab experience with mold and/or asbestos microscopy analysis.Authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Good communication and teamwork abilities.Work Environment
The work environment includes both lab and cubicle settings. You will work with various laboratory equipment and follow standard safety protocols. The role requires adherence to company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $49920.00/yr.
