A Laboratory Assistant position in Bohemia, NY is now available through Adecco Healthcare and Life Sciences. In this role, you will provide support to the R&D Sr Scientists by preparing samples for external testing, submitting samples to the labs, uploading results and preparing documentations, collect information to support risk assessment. This is a minimum 1-year temp/contract position starting in December 2024. The work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. The hourly pay is $ 24.50/hr. **Job Responsibilities:** Maintain documentation, restorability and process according to the quality system in place, instructions and tools which are directly related to sample management Sample management and Analytical tests: Weight samples (ingredients and finished product) and submission to external Laboratories. Creation of Analytical request Upload and organize results Organize and manage stability samples according to the protocols. **Results Reporting:** Timely reporting of consolidated results and trends to the functions concerned Reporting of abnormalities via notification and take immediate corrections **Experience:** Apprenticeship programs or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (microbiology, chemistry, food technology or other related fields) **Operational Experience:** Previous experience in another laboratory or analytical environment is an asset **Pay Details:** $24.50 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
