Laboratory Assistant

Location: Fall River, MA

Hours: 6:30am-3:00pm

Days: Monday - Friday

Full Time/Benefit Eligible

In this role, you will:

Accurately enter clinical data/information into the computer system

Perform technical and non-technical procedures required to process and submit patient specimens

Operate automated and semi-automated equipment according to operating procedures

Assist the lab in any/all other needs

Accurately document information including quality control, labeling of reagents, processing logs etc.

Troubleshoot instrument or equipment issues and resolve

Communicate effectively in a courteous, professional manner with all teammates and management

Any other duties assigned by management

All you need is:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing

Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills

Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to: telephones, computers, scanners.

Bonus points if you’ve got:

1 - 2 years of related experience in clinical laboratory, data entry, or production

This role will have routine access to Protected Health Information (PHI).
