Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Lab Assistant to join our team. The primary responsibilities will include daily data entry tasks related to lot transfer sheets, analytical results for purchased materials, and finished product blends. The role also involves assisting with internal meeting minutes and special projects related to citrus and flavor applications.
ResponsibilitiesDaily entry of all lot transfer sheet information into the FCC Distillation spreadsheet.Entry of analytical results from data packets for purchased materials and finished product blends into the FCC QC spreadsheet.Timely entry of GC component data for still cuts into the FCC Distillation spreadsheet.Assist FCC Management personnel as needed in the process of recording and distributing internal meeting minutes.Assist in special projects as they evolve, involving both citrus and flavor applications.Perform all other duties as directed and appropriate for the purposes of the company.Essential SkillsProficiency in laboratory practices.Strong data entry skills.Experience with inventory management.Knowledge of chemistry.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with JDE, SAP, or other ERP systems is a plus.Work Environment
The work environment includes laboratory, office, and manufacturing settings. The role operates Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, and offers a starting pay with room for growth. The position is initially on an indefinite contract, with the potential for permanent placement based on performance.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
