Process laboratory specimens; perform clerical duties; maintain daily quality control data and assist in maintaining laboratory equipment; assist Medical Technologists in clinical laboratory tests; complete all send outs; answer the phone to assist units with laboratory questions; perform phlebotomy and assist with the collection of other types of specimens.

Required Qualifications:

California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License upon hire, Or California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

Coursework/Training: 2 years of college. One (1) year experience as a clinical laboratory assistant in an acute care laboratory.
