The Department of Molecular and Medical Pharmacology is seeking a Lab Assistant II to support study leads in conducting animal experiments for drug development projects and perform basic laboratory maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include assisting with animal studies, specifically xenograft tail vein blood sample collection, data measurement, organization, and reporting of results. Additionally, the role involves supporting mouse procedures such as tumor implantations and drug administration. The candidate will prepare buffers, chemical agents, and other solutions according to research protocols. Maintaining a clean and organized lab, ordering materials, storing them appropriately, and adhering to all safety and procedural regulations are also key duties.
Hourly range: $21.38-$25.15
