Under the general supervision of the laboratory supervisor, the Lab Assistant II processes and handles specimens for testing in multiple Clinical and Anatomic areas of the laboratory. You may be required to obtain blood specimens on patients of all ages by venipuncture and micro-collection techniques for laboratory analysis. The work you do here makes a tremendous impact! This position is eligible for up to $6,000 per year based upon your Full or Part Time status.

Position: Lab Assistant II- This role will also travel to Newtown Square
Shift: Day shift- 8am-4:30pm- 1 Saturday per month

Experience:

2+ years laboratory experience required.

Proficiency in 2 different areas of the lab strongly preferred.

 

Education: 

High school graduate or equivalent, certification as a medical assistant or related field preferred, moderate knowledge of medical terminology, excellent verbal, written, computer and clerical skills.

Licensures/Certifications:

Maintains certification in the Packaging and Shipping of Hazardous Goods.

If MA, certification preferred
