Laboratory Associate (Rich Lab)
We seek a Laboratory Associate to support research projects focusing on the neural basis of cognitive and emotional processing. The laboratory uses behavioral and neurophysiological techniques. The Laboratory Associate will assist in data collection and participate in day-to-day activities in the laboratory. Specific activities may include training animals in behavioral tasks, assisting in neurophysiological experiments, working closely with laboratory and veterinary personnel to monitor and care for laboratory animals, ordering and stocking supplies, maintaining research records, cleaning the lab spaces as needed, and sterilizing equipment as needed. In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $58,656- $61,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer . Bachelor's degree in neuroscience, psychology, biology, or related field is required. 1+ years of laboratory experience preferred.
