Position Summary

Contributes to MultiCare’s Laboratories Northwest success by developing and executing local business strategies, marketing, sales and public relations initiatives enhancing lab market share and reputation as the highest value community laboratory with heavy focus on maximizing revenue growth. The Laboratory Business Development Executive is responsible for establishing and cultivating relationships with area providers, networks and HHS’s for the purpose of profitably growing business, maintaining excellent service and high client retention for MultiCare. This includes, but is not limited to, expanding Laboratories Northwest services/support into new markets increasing market share and patient access within the PNW, proper implementation, execution and retention as well as active support of operational workflow and efficiency related to the outreach program. This role is accountable to improve the financial performance of your book of business in revenue growth as well as revenue cycle improvement. This position also works in conjunction with Service/Careline Administrators, MMA/RWC Leadership, to facilitate ongoing networking, support and proper test utilization within MHS facilities.

Requirements

BS in Business, Life Sciences, marketing or equivalent 3 years of experience in related professional/technical role or function Experience in clinical laboratory sales and knowledge of clinical laboratory industry preferred Current Washington State Driver’s License, and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $93,018.00 - $133,869.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
